Start  your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with en route stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Track the rhinos on a walk with a ranger guide before enjoying lunch at the sanctuary’s restaurant.

Continue your journey to Murchison Falls, where the awe-inspiring power of nature awaits. At the top of the falls, marvel at the sight of the mighty Nile River thunderously cascading through a narrow canyon against the backdrop of the Albertine Rift Valley.

After this breathtaking experience, check into your lodge for a well-deserved rest. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Begin your day at 6 am with coffee and a snack before embarking on a game drive safari in Murchison Falls National Park. Spot nocturnal creatures and predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas as they remain active before retreating. Keep your camera ready for antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. Nubian giraffes are a highlight. Your guide will enhance the experience with insights into wildlife.

After breakfast, continue the game drive until midday. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a 3-hour boat cruise along the Nile River, marveling at Nile crocodiles, hippos, and aquatic birds. Look out for elephants and buffaloes by the river. After your breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking experience. On your way to to Kibale National Park, you will enjoy the spectacular views of tea estates, several forests where olive baboons are parading alongside the roads and shadow of thee legendary Rwenzori Mountain that forms a mystic backdrop to the beautiful volcanic landscape with en route lunch.

After your lunch, You will have an opportunity to go for a community walk in Bigodi for experiences like African homesteads, Banana bonga products, chimpanzee robusta coffee experience, traditional healers/doctors, handcraft making (ladies weaving baskets and cultural dances), cultural weddings, iron smith, and milking experiences.

Transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Safari Lodge:  Kibale Forest Lodge

Set out on an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Uganda. After breakfast, attend a briefing at the park’s information center on trekking protocols. Explore the lush forest, spotting chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys, mangabeys, and forest elephants.

Kibale NP is home to over 1500 chimpanzees. Trek durations vary from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Spend an hour observing and learning from park guides before receiving a certificate.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP with stop at the Equator point . Then start your evening game drive in Kasenyi Plains. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Prepare for an unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking expedition by donning appropriate attire: long trousers, a long-sleeved shirt, waterproof hiking shoes, a jacket, a hat, and sturdy gloves. Embark on a forest journey to track specific gorilla families, traversing trails of varying durations. Mental and physical preparedness is key, with options available for different fitness levels.

Keep watch for wildlife like forest elephants, L’Hoest monkeys, and bird species including the Red-throated Alethe. Upon encountering your gorilla family, spend an hour observing their dynamics under the dominant silverback’s watchful eye.
