3 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari

Wake up in the morning and prepare yourself. Then meet your guide and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with your enroute Lunch.

Gorilla Tracking Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up early in the morning and prepare your self for gorilla tracking. Dress in long trousers, long sleeved shirts, hat or cap, waterproof hiking shoes, long stocks, warm sweater for morning hours. Carry enough water(1.5 liters), packed lunch, rain jacket, small backpack, cameras.

Meet your guide who will drive you to the briefing point and you will be briefed amount the gorilla tracking experience, rules and regulations and be grouped in groups of 8 people who will visit the gorilla family. Start your walk to the forest to search for the Mountain gorillas.

It usually takes between 1 hour -4 hours walk before locating a gorilla family. Once you find 1 family, the ranger guide will share with the information about that particular gorilla family and the members from the silverback to the back backs, Females, infants. Spend a maximum of 1 hour with them and start your journey to the starting point where you will meet your guide.

You will receive gorilla tracking certificate for recognition of your efforts towards the conservation of the gorillas.

After breakfast, start on your morning  boat ride around Lake Bunyonyi. Explore the 29 Islands and the guide will give you information about the rich history of the lake. After, transfer to Kigali and this marks the end of tour.
